Who We Are

Sparta Presbyterian Church is a member of the Salem Presbytery of North Carolina of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), located in the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic.

We are called by God to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in worship and service to others, and to promote peace and justice in the world.

The church's Congregation and Session are governed in accordance with the Constitution of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). The local church is governed by the Session comprised of nine elected Elders who are charged with the responsibility to oversee the work and worship of the local Church.
